Here's the request for . I'm sorry that this pic isn't exactly the way you wanted it, but I hope this little story makes up for it.
Her breathing was rapid as she quickly sped through the town. Well.....as quickly as her gravid belly would allow without introducing her to the stone road her feet already knew so well. Kasumi was a powerful female warrior, but due to her new found girth she had to take things easy. This unfortunately wasn't one of those times. Her favorite and best sword was missing, and she wouldn't stop until she found it. Still on the run from her former comrades, she would need it to protect herself, and the new lives growing ever larger within her. Sure, she had the father and his traveling family of course; but none of them could take on an entire shinobi strike team. Kasumi asked a few of the locals, but they never saw her sword.
"Where is it.....?" she constantly asked herself.
Kasumi rounded the next corner and ended up bumping belly first into another woman. This one, surprisingly, had a belly big enough to match hers. They both stumbled and almost fell, but stayed on their feet.
"Um sorry about that...." said Kasumi, putting a hand to her back for support.
"It's alright...." the new girl said as she did the same, "I've hit my fair share of people today. I'm Fuu by the way."
"Call me Kasumi...." she answered.
It was then Kasumi noticed something clutched in the kimono-wearing girl's hand; it was none other than the sword she so desperately searched for.
"That's it! That's my sword!" she exclaimed.
"Oh so you're the one that homeless boy stole this sword from..." Fuu said.
"Please oh please, can I have it back?" Kasumi asked, trying to keep her dignity without resorting to deception or begging.
Fuu pondered this thought for a moment, then gently tossed the sword over into Kasumi's hands.
Kasumi cradled the sword in her hands, then removed it from it's sheath. "Thank you Fuu, you don't know how much this blade means to me," she said, returning the blade back to it's home.
Kasumi then smiled and tied it on where it belonged on her lower back. She went over to give her new friend a hug, but ended up repeating her earlier unintentional collision. Their arms flailed around for a bit until balance finally returned.
"I apologize...." Kasumi muttered, "....again."
"That's alright." Fuu replied."Now lets find a nice place to sit down and talk...."
"Talk..... about what exactly...?" asked Kasumi.
Fuu smirked and placed her hands on her hips. "About how you're gonna repay me for finding your sword for you."
Kasumi chuckled nervously. "Oh.....that....." Her mind wondered about the equally brown eyed girl staring back at her as she thought "This is gonna be a LONG day......"
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
