Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's that time again folks. Time to earn some rewards for a little creativity. The theme of this contest is...

Rotund Rivals

In every good tale, life isn't all rainbows and campire songs. Often there are rivalries and conflicts. The girls of the Tousenoah house aren't the only Bulger Girls in existence, so now I'll create some rivals for them.

Rules
For this contest I'll give everyone the basic traits of each girl, and those who want to participate will build a character around that. The ones I like the best become the official rival group to the Tousenoah household and will appear in quite a few future pics. You can do 1 of them, a few of them, or all if you want. Doing more increases your chances of winning.

Also keep in mind that your character has to be either human, elf, or catgirl.

Girl #3 – the diva, 14 years old, 9-0 beauty pageant winner, knows karate, Linka's Rival

Girl #4 – the weird one, 17 years old, very curvaceous figure, loves insects and the occult, Chloe's Rival

Girl #5 – the spunky twin, 15 years old, Girl #6's older twin, open lesbian, tends to "hang out" with Girl #2 a lot

Girl #6 – the quiet twin, 15 years old, Girl #5's younger twin, video game prodigy, Sayaka's Rival

Basically any girl you make has to fit into 1 of these sets, and then you need to give her some unique characteristics and quirks to make her stand out from the pack.
